El Paso Connect
El Paso Connect (EPC) is a volunteer mentorship program linking El Paso alumni of America’s best colleges with current students from El Paso high schools who dream of following in their footsteps and attending one of America’s top universities.
Mentors will help students create a strategy for completing their applications involving setting goals, work schedules and deadlines, in addition to providing editorial advice on students’ essays to help students present themselves as an ideal candidate for admission. Beyond helping students complete their applications, mentors will provide students and parents with invaluable guidance and insight into what it is like to go away for school and what it takes to succeed there.
